I am currently fixated on every thing goof troop and goofy movie related. Trolling the internet for good, quality animation inevitably led me to the film A Goofy Movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed!

After the movie I did some research on the development, my research lead me to the  old Disney show Goof troop, which the movie was "baced" off of.

Now, the problem lies here; two to four characters are absent in this movie, Peg , Pete's wife, Pistol Pete's daughter,  and the two pets, (I don't know there names.)
One can argue that the movie was a reboot, probably in the interest of spinning off into another series. On goof troop and Disney blogs people speculate that Peg divorced Pete and got custody of Pistol. I guess it's just one of those things that were never explaned in there univers, and must be left up to fan speculation.

What are your thoughts on the subject ?

Do y'all think its right for shows to leave there fans in the dark regarding the whereabouts of main characters, and/or totally writing them out of the script in regards to new projects *cough* Roxanne *cough* Nightcrawler X men 2 *cough*!!

Let me know your thoughts on the matter!

P.s. I'm currently working on a Roxanne devination that  ill put up next week. :)

Given how Pete acts like to Goofy as a neighbor and to Mickey & Friends in general, Peg divorcing him is no surprise. As for Roxanne being added, Max became a high-school/college young adult, so beyond best pal PJ and his other friend obsessed with cheese, Max needed a girl to pique his interest, hence why Roxanne was created. Goofy gets the same treatment in the sequel (An Extremely Goofy Movie) by falling for the middle-aged librarian of the college he enrolls into to get his school diploma after years of trying to raise Max on minimum wage income after Max's unseen mother leaves or dies (Note: She is probably the same one seen in the old Goofy short, in which Goofy is named George Geef Goof and is in a world of lookalikes and his son is named simply Goofy Junior [it is probably a younger Max before the name and hair color change, since Goofy Junior in the short is a redheaded toddler]). Incidentally, this same college is the very one Max is in! If House of Mouse is canon to the Goof Troop/Goofy Movie universe, Goofy would land a steady job as waiter for the club Mickey & Minnie run for grubby landlord Pete (who owns the land that the club sits on and actually purchased the deed to the building that houses the club without Mickey and Friends' prior knowledge) and Max become parking attendant. Roxanne even reappears for a cameo in an episode solely centered around Max trying to find some peace and quiet in contrast to Mickey and Friends' attempts at helping to make the date between Max and Roxanne perfect!
